(Zimmerman 2023) Deep rose to bubblegum pink petals with lighter watermark and white edge. The first blooms are 8 inches on 32 inch scapes. Later in the season and on rebloom, the flowers are 7+ inches. A semi-evergreen tet, this Early cultivar is a vigorous multiplier and a reliable rebloomer. Bubblegum Queen has an average of 18 buds, with a range of 14-21 buds and three-way branching. It is a reluctant pod setter, but the pollen is extremely potent and almost always sets a pod. I have lots of exciting seedlings coming from this parent.

(Petit 2012) Sev. 6-7" fl. 32" sc. Mre. 25 buds. Fertile both ways. Very good rust resistance, and a strong, vigorous grower. The petal self is a pale lavender pink with a deep green throat. The flowers have a complex patterned eye with bands of blue, violet, charcoal and white. The pattern continues around the tightly crimped and heavily ruffled petal edges as a multiple banded burgundy, violet and gold edge. The pattern varies with the weather, sometimes the pattern eye takes up half of the petal surface, and at other times the eye is a bluish lavender. (In my hot climate, I only see patterns very early in the season when night temps are cool.)

Dearest Valentine (Zimmerman 2018) has cerise rose pink blooms with a light pink watermark, cream/gold edge, and yellow to green throat. A dormant tet, this cultivar blooms ML on 25 inch scapes. A terrific rebloomer, some fans have three cycles of bloom. Bud count is 16 (range of 13-19) on three way branching. In my climate the bright blooms always open well. (Davisson 12) This 8 1/2 pink unusual form crispate has a huge cream pink "Munson type" watermark and a fine gold edge. She is dripping in diamond dusting all over the flower surface. Scapes are 42" tall with 4 and 5 way branching, 28 to 32 buds. Easily fertile both ways. Vigorous plants increase quickly. Blooms midseason. Hardy, dormant tetraploid. (NO BOYS ALLOWED X UNKNOWN)

An unusual form crispate, the petals are a light dusty lavender rose with a light ruffle. The pinched and rolled form is very consistent on the established plant, and in a clump it is very imposing. Gypsy Cats is named after a family of feral cats (mother and kittens) that I adopted many years ago. A dormant tet, this cultivar has blooms of 7-8 inches on 29-inch scapes with three- to five-way branching. Bud counts range from 12-29. Gypsy Cats blooms midseason. The flower is a reddish purple with a blue purple watermark and a white edge showing some teeth and claws. The throat is green. A fast multiplier, Gypsy Cats is pod and pollen fertile.
